According to complaints on Reddit, Twitter, and Apple Support community forums, users are reporting Wi-Fi disconnections after installing iOS 16.1.
iOS 16.1.1 is on the way
Apple is preparing to release the iOS 16.1.1 update that will fix the Wi-Fi error and some other problems experienced by iPhone users.
The update is said to be currently being tested within Apple and will be released soon.
With the new iOS 16 version, the problem that causes the Wi-Fi connection to disconnect when the iPhone is left in standby mode is expected to be resolved.
