Apple works with different companies in the production of parts for iPhone models. The US-based company has so far preferred companies such as Samsung and BOE for the screens of iPhone 14 models.
According to the information received, South Korean LG Display has now stepped in for the screen production of the iPhone 14 series.
LG started production
The negotiations between Apple and LG Display for the production of OLED screens of the iPhone 14 Pro models have been concluded. LG has been producing screens for Apple for the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max since the end of October.
On the other hand, Samsung Display will continue to undertake the screen production of the entire iPhone 14 series.
However, LG Display will only be active in the screen production of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models.
It is claimed that LG can also produce screens for Apple’s mixed reality glasses and foldable iPhone models.
